Islandwide’s Information and Technology Department is primarily dedicated to the design, development and implementation of new software products to meet our customer’s demands. Whether it is for processing your shipments, obtaining information regarding their status or responding an inquiry related to your inventory in our warehouse, we have the tools that make these simple tasks easier. Our systems are designed to allow for the precise flow of information/tracking throughout the customer’s entire supply chain. Of the following four products, the first two are created to simplify and track your shipments and the last two to manage your inventory at our facilities.

Software

IWE Track is our internal program for tracking and tracing packages/cargo within our transportation cycle. Through this solution we maintain clear visibility of our entire customer’s shipments. This software is also used by our Finance Department for billing, collections and managing receivables.

DELIVER is our shipping software designed to facilitate the processing of your shipments. It offers you the option of creating a data base with the shipping information of each one of your customers. In addition, it provides reports and statistical information of your shipments.

Our warehouse inventory management system, WIM, is designed to control and manage product flow in our warehouses as part of the supply chain operation. WIM supports inventory control and work activity at every warehousing stage. It is a Windows 2000/2003 based software application that tracks orders, records product movement/activity in barcode scanning technology and tracks in/out of products from receipt to shipment. It also records receiving, put-away, allocation, picking, shipping, cycle counts and physical inventory.

WIMRF is our radio frequency solution used on our warehouses. WIMRF supports products movements, cycle counts, physical inventory, order audit, order process (inbound, outbound and returns) and the ability to print the transportation labels.

Technological Capabilities

Islandwide has successfully performed customized integrations with various systems. We can adjust our system to be able to integrate with our customers system. Our IT Department has made full integrations with AS400, Oracle, Microsoft, MAS 200 and SAP via EDI, XML and text files. Our EDI Adapter supports the following standard ANSI X.12 message types: 204, 214, 270, 271, 276, 277, 278, 304, 323, 810, 820, 830, 832, 834, 835, 837, 840, 843, 850, 856, 880, 940, 945, and 997.

Reporting

Basically, we customize the programming according to our customer’s needs. With our integration solutions we can create web dashboards and automatic reports that can be sent via email to our customers. Our system can generate monthly, quarterly, and annual delivery reports. We can adjust the parameters for this purpose. We can customize our reports according to our customers’ needs and requirements of information.An example of these automatic reports can be daily inventory, daily shipments, daily processed orders,most sold items, non-moving inventory, expired products, KPI compliance reports and many more.

In the transportation/ distribution we can provide reports/data such as daily proof of delivery, on time and not on time delivery reports, full exception reports and others reports as requested and agreed with our customers. These reports can be sent in different formats (HTML interactive, excel, text, word, PDF, etc.).

Web Site

Our Internet site www.islandwide.com is a web based global track and trace tool that provides accurate shipment tracking information. It contains our batch view report generator where you can produce package status reports by tracking number or by date and view POD's images.

Extranet Site

Islandwide has an extranet site (www.islandwide.com/extranet) which offers customers a virtual private network with a public infrastructure of communication to securely share information regarding the Logistics operations.
